Mrs. Lawrencia Donkor Acheampong is a Senior Research Scientist specialized in Information management. She obtained a Diploma in Business Studies (Secretarial and Management Option) from the Tamale Polytechnic in the year 2000. She holds B.Ed. in Business Education from the University of Education, Winneba and an M.A. (Information Studies-Library option), from the University of Ghana, Legon.
Mrs. Donkor Acheampong has attended several training workshops including, the digitization of indigenous knowledge, Digital Library Policy and Management, Information Skills and Research Training, Electronic Resources Training of Trainers Course, Result Based monitoring and Evaluation Workshop, Online Journal Publishing, Web 2 Tool Kit, among others.
Mrs Donkor Acheampong is a part-time tutor at the College of Distance Education of the University of Cape Coast (U.C.C) where she teaches Information Literacy Skills.
Lawrencia has trained more than 100 participants in information sources, electronic resources, internet search and information management tools.
