Mr. John Vinoagbe attended Kpando Senior High School, and holds a Diploma in Post Harvest Technology from the University of Ghana, B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Agricultural Technology (Horticulture) from the University for Development Studies and currently pursuing M.Sc. in Seed Science and Technology at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Mr. Vinoagbe has research interest in the breeding and seed propagation of horticultural crops particularly vegetables such as tomatoes, pepper, okra and garden eggs. 

Mr. John Vinoagbe is currently researching into Effects of Different Seed Priming Techniques on Germinability, Vigour, Seedling Establishment and Yield of Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus;Moench) for his M.Sc. work.

Mr. John Vinoagbe has the following professional affiliations:

•    Member of Ghana Institute of Horticulturists Association (GhIH).
•    Member of CSIR- Research Staff Association (RSA)

He participated in the implementation of the Commercial Development of Farmer-Based Organization under Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) Project in Ghana. He has good knowledge in project management and writing of research proposals for funding.

Mr. John Vinoagbe is currently an Assistant Research Scientist (Horticulturist) at the CSIR-Crops Research Institute.
