DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF CSIR-CROPS RESEARCH INSTITUTE WINS
GHANA WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE AWARD – 2012
Dr. Stella Ama Ennin, Deputy Director of CSIR-Crops Research Institute was honoured with a ‘Ghana Women of Excellence Award- 2012’ at the 2nd Ghana Women of Excellence Awards ceremony in Accra on 30th March, 2012.
The awards ceremony organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Women and Children’s Affairs was under the theme “Empowering the Ghanaian Woman for National Development”.
For her price, Dr. Ennin received a certificate and a citation, in recognition of her “outstanding contribution to Scientific Research and Agricultural Development in Ghana”.

Mr. Michael Kwabena Osei was born in 1978 at Mampong in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He is an Assistant Research Scientist of the CSIR-Crops Research Institute, Kumasi, Ghana. He has published and presented paper on a wide range of vegetables including tomato, garden eggs and African Indigenous leafy vegetables.
